HKTVmall will release 30% of the ad booking time slots in 2023 for merchant booking from 10 Oct onwards, while the remaining 70% ad booking time slots will be available from 12 Dec onwards for participating merchants of the Advance Booking and Commitment Scheme in advance.

The fifth wave of pandemic has resulted in challenges and difficulties to our merchants and the community. Aiming to support our merchant partners, HKTVmall will launch “2022 [Vitality Plan] Advertising Plan” from 1st April to 30th June, offering ad bonus up to 100%.
HKTVmall strives to increase service quality, and with the business updates and new targets this year, HKTVmall will restructure the current arrangement of VIP Day. In regard of this, some of the ad formats on every Wednesday to Friday during the period of March 30 - May 6 2022 will be suspended in the Ad Booking System until further notice, the ad formats include:

HKTVmall has been working on combining the existing Disney category tree into the existing Toys and Books category tree from July 9 onwards. Please find the below updated Toys and Books Category Tree:
2. Separation of Electrical Appliances into Home Appliances and Gadgets and Electronics Streets
From August 4 onwards, HKTVmall will separate the Electrical Appliances Street into Home Appliances Street and Gadgets and Electronics Street respectively. From today onwards, the ads under these two streets will be available on the Ad Booking System. Merchants can reserve the ad launching from Aug 16, so as to promote products to their target audiences and boost sales.
*Please note that the ad booking slots in Gadgets and Electronics Street are restricted to merchants under Home Appliances and Gadgets and Electronics Street only.
In order to facilitate efficiency of order processing, the deadline of materials submission during Jun 30 - Jul 2 will be shifted to on or before 12:00pm on Jun 29, 2021. Please note that we will not process any materials submission requests during public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
In order to increase efficiency in managing the design lead time, from 25 June onwards, HKTVmall will implement below new arrangement on the number of times for revision on banners.
To ensure that merchants could advertise accurately and increase the effectiveness of advertisement, HKTVmall has been devoted to strengthening the functions in the Ad Booking System, aiming to increase flexibility in ad booking. HKTVmall has launched a new feature - “Generate Engagement Report”. From today onwards, merchants will be able to take reference on relevant data in the Ad Booking System and develop your future advertising plan easily.
To generate the engagement report, you will only need to follow the below 2 steps, an engagement report of all ads within the chosen period will be obtained. The new feature allows merchants to compare the performance of different ads during a certain launch period or across different launch periods, helping merchants to formulate a comprehensive advertising plan, eventually to boost sales and enhance the brand’s image.
Click the ‘Report’ tab in the Ad Booking System.
Select the relevant ad launch period* and click ‘Generate’.
*You may choose any 1 day of the ad launch period to view the single day ad performance, or choose the whole ad launch period (From Monday to Sunday) to view the overall ad performance during the launch period.
Our office will be closed during Easter Holiday (Apr 2-6), in order to facilitate efficiency of order processing, the deadline of materials submission during Mar 31 - Apr 7 will be shifted to before March 30, 12:00pm. Please note that we will not process any materials submission request during the holiday and kindly be reminded to submit the materials earlier.
From February 26 onwards, Ad Booking slots update time will be changed from 00:00 to 10:00am everyday, but merchants are still available to book within the next 90 days ad inventory. Please see below example for details:
Friendly Reminder: The next 1-week ad time slot (24-30 May) will be released on 1 Mar 10am.
On top of that, to ensure flexibility in ad booking, from February 26 onwards, Facebook Post booking will be available in Ad Booking System. Merchants can reserve the ad launching from Mar 22. The booking method is simple, which merchants will only have to choose the ad format “Facebook Post” in Ad Booking System, select an advertisement time slot, fill in a contact email and submit required materials, including image, wordings and landing URL and then wait for approval. Please note that no design and copywriting service will be provided. For ad boosting post service, please reach us by advertising@hktv.com.hk
In view of the recent update on HKTVmall Advertising Content Guidelines on Sensitive Products, Category ad formats* for Sub Category 2 - Condom & Sexual Wellness (AA13205000000) will be opened for booking. From February 26, 12pm onwards, Category ads of this Sub Category will be available for booking through Ad Booking System, which merchants may reserve for ads launching from March 22.
